Planting and Growing Information

Plant these hardy corms in fall, 3 inches deep and 3 inches apart (approximately 15 per square foot) for optimal growth. They perform best in well-drained soil and are suitable for USDA hardiness zones 3-8. While they prefer regular moisture during active growth, they tolerate drier conditions during summer dormancy. Their early bloom time (very early to early spring) makes them perfect for planting under deciduous trees, as they flower before the trees leaf out.
