Sweet, productive and hardy heirloom kale from England that gives you lots of food. It makes armloads of beautiful big leaves. This is my favorite of the European kales--it is hardier and more pest-resistant than Lacinato, and I think it's more tender as well. Most kales out there tend to be either curly-edged, or cut-leafed, or both. This one has broad flat leaves that are easy to wash and give aphids no place to hide. And it produces them mightily!
