THE RASA RAMBLE: This hose has several benefits that can make it the best hose on the market...if you know how to use it. When you hear about this hose not kinking it truly and amazingly does not kink. Its also very lightweight and you can pull it across your space with ease and water your heart out. There is only one downside to this hose and knowing this might help keep you a very happy gardener with the fact that the multiple positives can outweigh this single negative...If you keep the water spigot valve on when not in use and keep this hose pressurized in the heat of summer it will blow, almost instantly. After watering you HAVE to turn off the spigot right away and then open the wand or spray gun to release the pressure. When water gets hot inside the hose, pressure builds up very quickly...a lot more than most think and it ruins the integrity of your hose. This isn't an issue in greenhouse or indoor garden environments because the sun isn't beating down on the hose. Long story short is this is the best hose on the market we found for indoor, greenhouse or shaded areas. It can work outside in the direct sun, but you need to release the water pressure in the hose after every use or you are going to be very unhappy. There are ways to increase the longevity of a hose: a springe/hose protector and/or a countdown hose water timer. the spring hose protector will help prevent the hose from bending at the spigot, which is the most common place hoses blow.
