This soil is designed for long term applications including indoor plants, trees, and raised beds. There is no compost or wood chips in this mix which can increase the risk of root rot. This is a great base mix having both great water holding capacity with exceptional drainage and aeration. Because there is no nutrition in this mix you will need to Top Dress or scratch in your fertilizer and/or compost on the Top of you Pot, Planter, or Raised Bed.
