CloseNight and Day' is a spicy-scented, striking cousin of the 'Black Prince' snapdragon. This bumblebee favorite is long blooming and makes gorgeous cut flowers! We love its look next to bunny tails grass in a container. Its dark red petals turn nearly black in the fall, and its foliage turns dark burgundy, contrasting with its lower white jaws. The uniquely-shaped edible flowers are interesting and pretty as a garnish on salads, desserts, and cold drinks. Perennial in USDA zones 5 and warmer, usually grown as an annual. Deer resistant.
