These are fantastic, with a very sweet rich flavor that's reminiscent of dates. Once you've grown this, you'll want to have it every year. Long-keeping for a delicata, so you can eat them longer into the winter. Carol's book The Tao of Vegetable Gardening tells the story of how she and Nate France bred this squash, with mishaps and strokes of luck along the way.
