70 Days to maturity (from transplant). Solanum lycopersicum. Grandeur Hybrid Japanese Tomato Seeds. Non-GMO, warm season annual, F1 hybrid, indeterminate, slicing tomato. Suitable for growing in garden plots, raised beds, and greenhouses. Resistant to Fusarium Wilt 1, Gray Leaf Spot, Root Knot Nematode, Tobacco Mosaic Virus, and Verticillium Wilt. This high-quality hybrid from Japan is a vigorous producer of uniform, firm, deep-red tomatoes with green shoulders. Large fruits can weigh over 0.5 lb each. Early and vigorous, it has large leaves and short internodes. The hardy plants produce 5 to 6 fruits per cluster and are resistant to heat and cracking.

Resistant to verticillium, fusarium 1 and 2, stemphylium and TM1. This tomato is a great choice for home or commercial growing. Start seeds inside 6 weeks before last frost date (or 8 weeks before expected transplanting date). Keep soil warm until emergence (75-80°F minimum). Seeds will not germinate in cool soil and planting out too early may affect plant vigor. Harden off plants carefully before transplanting. Prepare fertile, well-drained soil. Transplant in late spring/summer (soil temperatures at least above 60°F) in a very warm and sunny location. Plant so that soil level is just below the lowest leaves. Train to a vertical support. Fertilize as needed. Too much nitrogen will produce lush foliage and few fruits. Prepare fresh or cook. Use in stir-fries, soups or salads.
